Open since 2002, the International Montessori Preschool is located in a ranch-style home
on a shady, half-acre lot situated amidst the prestigious Claremont Colleges.
Our newest campus, the International Montessori School is located on Monte Vista
Avenue in Montclair, 1/2 mile north of Interstate 10.
Owner, Wendy Mitchell, was awarded an assistant's certification from the Association
Montessori Internationale of La Jolla in 1997 and her International Association of Progressive
Montessori Head Teacher's certification in 2004. She has taught and served as director of
Montessori schools since 1996.
We accept students ages 2 - 6 years old. Our Montclair campus includes elementary grades
1-6. Spanish, music, dance, crafts and more round out a program that is steeped in love and
compassion for each child and Montessori professionalism.
